Trades: Please note me
I've been an awful Deviant lately. But this has been one HECK of a year (6 months really...). So I got kicked out of my apartment in June, found a new apartment in September, traveled to Maine, Dallas, and Puerto Rico, my friend is having surgery, and I'm working like a mad-woman. I've been featured in Country Living Magazine (link! [link] ) and I've been making origami ornaments like nobody's business.
I still love you fellow deviants. I just need a little space right now. You understand don't you? It's not you - It's me. A little time apart never hurt anyone. And I'm sure we can be friends...
I'll be around intermittently. I'll get around to checking up on all of you soon!

For the star kusudama, the points/arms fit into the pockets in the back of the unit. If you have thin or weak paper, or improperly fitted pieces, or have tried too many times, the kusudama gets really hard to fit together. Stiffer paper works better.
But the real trick? Glue. Put a little drop on the arm before you slide it in, hold for three seconds, and go for the next one. This ensures your points stay aligned even when you battle the last few stars and I know how impossible that last piece is!
Good luck!
