Trades: Please note me
So sorry for being MIA guys. I recently got booted out of my cushy apartment (a relative needed my space so he moved in and I moved out) and now I spend 3-4 hours a day in transit between my carpet padded cubicle and the home of the parentals. I'm none too thrilled about the change (I feel like my life is a constant sprint from point A to point B) and my art is certainly suffering for it. I haven't posted new work in DA or Etsy, minus a custom order that I stayed up nights to finish. And unfortunately, it might be like this for a while.
Nevertheless, thank you for the comments and faves and love. I am 600 messages behind, so you may never get a thank you from me, or you'll get it 5 months late lol. Sorry about that guys. But I will respond to any comments or notes you leave me.
In the meantime, if anyone knows of a fantasticly cheap apartment within 45 minutes of Midtown Manhattan, holler at ya girl here.

For the star kusudama, the points/arms fit into the pockets in the back of the unit. If you have thin or weak paper, or improperly fitted pieces, or have tried too many times, the kusudama gets really hard to fit together. Stiffer paper works better.
But the real trick? Glue. Put a little drop on the arm before you slide it in, hold for three seconds, and go for the next one. This ensures your points stay aligned even when you battle the last few stars and I know how impossible that last piece is!
Good luck!

Love the roosters youve done, and the hairpins. Still think you should have a go at burning down your apartment.....
Should be getting a couple of books on Precious metal clay fairly soon, so I'll pass on the most important bits when I do (but dont hold your breath

And that goes just.....there.....(BIIIIG smile)
I might be moving, in which case I could have access to an over and space to do PMC With a torch! So sharing would be fantastic.

Hurry up - hurry up and move right now 'cos I cant wait to see what you would be able to do with some PMC. Wont be getting any books for at least a month though, still catching up with the origami and general papercraft lists.....trouble is, each one you get has a bibliography.....
There is an awful lot of info available online though. Have fun.....
